“No one should follow what he considers to be good for himself, but rather what seems good for another.
Let them put Christ before all else; and may he lead us all to everlasting life.”
– St. Benedict

- The Principles of Roman Catholic Apostolic Religion
- True Patriotism and Love of Christian Traditions
- Spiritual and material protection among their associates
We are devoted members who help our parish serving as Eucharistic Ministers, Advocates, Music Ministers, Ushers, Lectors, and by providing financial donations.
We meet every Monday at 8:00 PM in McDermott Hall. The first Monday of the month, we have our General Meeting to coordinate our activities and the other Mondays we pray the Rosary or have religious studies.
Our activities bring us closer to know our religion and closer to God’s will. It also rewards us with true happiness when we see the fruits of helping our parish. At the same time, it gives us wisdom in keeping our home and family with peace and love.

In the same manner as the disciples who walked with Jesus on the road to Emmaus returned joyfully to Jerusalem to share the good news, the Emmaus Retreat provides a setting for today’s disciples of Jesus to walk the transforming road to Emmaus. In the revelation of word and sacrament, experienced within the context of community of the Catholic Church, contemporary disciples who may once have been despondent or lukewarm in the faith are renewed to follow Christ more faithfully.
Retreats are held twice a year, in English or Spanish, and there is one for men and one for women. Monthly meetings are held the second Monday in English and fourth Monday in Spanish.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus, founded in 1882, had its prime goal of “aiding the widows and families of its deceased members.” Today, they also support the challenged and handicapped; they promote the “Right to Life” campaign, and they support those studying for the priesthood or religious life.
The Men’s Club commits itself to formation in the faith. Through on-going formation in the faith, they wish to assist all members to know and love God more profoundly. This knowledge and love of God naturally compels the members to actively engage in works of charity in the parish and community.
Ministry of Mothers Sharing – MOMS
MOMS is an outreach ministry of Sisters of St. Benedict of St. Paul’s Monastery in St. Paul, Minnesota, gathering mothers for spiritual support.
The purpose of MOMS is to create in women an awareness of the inner sacred self, while at the same time teaching new ways to inspire, encourage, and affirm each other. Through the process of personal and spiritual growth, women have the opportunity to clarify their values, claim their own giftedness, and bring these strengths to their family relationships and to the Christian community.
Cub Scouts, for boys in 1st – 5th grade and Boy Scouts, for 6th – 12th graders, are programs that help youngsters become good citizens, while developing them both mentally and physically. The strength of these programs lies in teaching the children about patriotism, citizenship, community service, brotherhood and values, as well as creating a healthy relationship between parents and their sons at an early age.
